Hello, I’m Annie Ridout.
And I’m here to encourage women to believe in themselves.
All my work – as an author, journalist, CEO and coach – is about helping and supporting fellow females (including anyone who identifies as one).
We are all whole, talented and capable of great things. But sometimes, the narrative we’ve been delivered says otherwise.
So I’m here to help you re-write it.
Areas I’m particularly experienced in: business coaching, shyness and introversion, women in the workplace, freelancing around other responsibilities, women returning to work after having children, mothers who have lost their sense of self and identity.
The SQ twist: if you’re open to ‘woo’ (spirituality), I love to incorporate tarot, magic spells and deities into coaching sessions. It can lift the sessions into a rather magical space. If you’ve not explored this before, and would like to, know that I make it lighthearted, accessible and easy to understand.
Please get in touch: firstname.lastname@example.org and we can talk about what might work best for you, depending on the support you’re looking for.
In your email, I’d love to know your answers to the following questions:
- What challenge(s) are you facing?
- What result would you hope to achieve from our coaching sessions?
- Are you after straight coaching, or a touch of ‘woo’, too?
I offer one-off sessions (power hours), as well as coaching packages (six sessions, over six weeks).
Fees start at £300 for a one-hour session, plus a week of email support after our call. For the six-week package (£1800), you’ll have on-going email support, between calls.
There is some flexibility, for those who need (both financially and in terms of the amount of sessions you’d like).
I also offer coaching within businesses and organisations who are keen to support their female employees so that they can get clearer on what they’d like to achieve, and how to make it happen.
Again, I can support with shyness and introversion, women returning to the workplace after children, confidence and more general goal-setting. As well as offering spiritual practices that can be incorporated into the work day for more joy, magic and – ultimately – success.
If you get in touch: email@example.com we can arrange a call to discuss how I might be able to work with you and/or your team.
My qualifications and work experience
I’m a trained, qualified and certified coach (I trained with the MOE Foundation, accredited by the Association for Coaching).
And I’ve worked with thousands of women through my first online business, The Robora, delivering coaching through a combination of online courses, phone calls and email coaching.
I’ve now launched this new platform to really hone in on SQ (spiritual quotient/intelligence), as it’s what I believe business owners need most, right now. Some magic, and a connection to something bigger.
As well as coaching and running my business, I’m the author of Shy: How being quiet can lead to success and The Freelance Mum: A flexible career guide for better work-life balance. Both have sold thousands of copies, globally.
I’ve just been offered my third book deal (on incorporating spirituality into your work-life).
As a journalist, I write for the Guardian and Observer, Red Magazine, Grazia, the Telegraph, Independent and more.
And I’m a poet – writing about feminism and motherhood. Several of my poems have gone viral on Instagram (@annieridoutpoetry).
Past coaching clients have said:
“I feel so inspired and encouraged after my business coaching calls with Annie. She is an amazingly present and patient listener and helps me to see my skills and experiences from a different and more positive perspective.
As well as consistently asking considered and thought-provoking questions, Annie has suggested some great ideas that build on the foundations of what I want my business to look like. It’s so helpful that she can relate to life as a mother of young kids too.
I look forward to our calls every week. I feel completely secure, supported and uplifted during and after our conversations.” Emily Fulleylove
“By the end of my coaching programme, I’d not only got my business underway with exciting traction, but for the first time in decades, I could see my unique gift, attributes and purpose in the world.
I cannot believe how far I’ve come in such a short space of time.
Annie has a fantastic ability to distil your confusion and bring clarity to the table. She cuts out the noise and spies the unnecessary distractions, providing you with space and enlightenment to realign with your true passion.
Take this path with Annie and go make magic!” Flic Taylor
“I wanted a coach to help me navigate the daily demands of being a mother and trying to set up my own online business. I knew straight away that Annie was the person I wanted to work with as I knew she understood the challenge of balancing both.
Having Annie as my coach has brought me multiple benefits. She is there to not only talk about my business challenges but also understand the constant conflict of balance as a new mother.
No topic is off discussion with Annie and I always come away from our calls feeling lighter and focused with a clear path forward. I love having Annie to keep me accountable. She understands and believes in my business which gives me so much confidence. I can’t recommend Annie enough!”
